Traditional Kneeler

I liked the shade of blue and the simple pattern of crosses on this kneeler. As I looked at this I was reminded of the Graham Kendrick song The Servant King, one line of which goes

Bow down and worship for this is your God

In older churches in England (particularly CofE) there are often cross stitched kneelers, made (or sponsored) by members of the congregations. They are almost always this size and shape, but there is a whole variety of patterns and colours. Some are very intricate. I’ve no idea why this was ON the chair in the side chapel of All Saints over at Fulham, but its position caught my eye!
