refuse collection point

This is the rubbish collection point at one school in the suburbs of Turku. Finns are really into reusing and recyling, so there are places for glass, paper, card, burnable materials and ‘other’. And most places have a compost for biodegradable stuff too. Dangerous waste like used batteries is collected elsewhere.

Seeing this today reminded me that we are called to be discerning. To sort things that we think and we hear and read carefully. Is it from God? Is it encouraging and upbuilding? Is it prophetic in some way? Is it for now or for later? Is it to be rejected altogether?
